Content on back of album cover:David Campbell is a song-writer, poet and singer, of Arawak Indian ancestry, who was born and raised in Guyana, South America. He now resides in Canada. He has performed in concert and on radio and television in Britain, Europe, and North America. "Pretty Brown" is his sixth long-playing record, He has also made two single records ands had published three books of songs and poems. His writing and singing covers several dimensions of human experience although his main focus is writing about Native People of the Americans and also Immigrant People.
